Day 14 - WTC Countdown July 13

CAMP DAY 4

Last day, up and again my back is terrible. Damn fold out bed. Got the kids and Adults onto the bikes and up to the pool on an overcast, windier day while I drove again. Today I up'd the laps and group swimming spending nearly the whole time doing that. It's a lot different than what our swimming kids are used to. Lots of congestion, and having to fight for their space in the water. There was a lot of laughing and also grumpy faces by being hit, or frustration for not being able to get past someone else.

Once we were done, we cruised back for our last 2nd breakfast, cleaning and ready for one last session. A super super sprint tag relay with 3 teams of 4, swim 120m, 5 minutes on turbo trainer, run around the park, having an adult mixed in too. About 10 minutes each. Quite a bit of fun and once done a final fish n' chips and prizes given out.

Once done, had to wait for everyone to get collected, and Alex picked up for a weekend swim meet. She's going to be shattered tonight.

Stayed at Jane's parents, and so tired, I had a nana nap for a couple of hour, woke just in time to watch the Hurricanes v's Chiefs match. Great game/entertainment. Again, still having a good day. no real issues at all. Just need to get my own real training done, 2 x 1 1/2 hour sessions per day is what I really need to get back to, at a minimum.

I'll get there and so will the girls, once school restarts.
