Yesterday I announced that I am making my comeback to competitive triathlons. I have not really been that focused on the sport I absolutely love since 2008 when I first wore the silver fern in Vancouver.
I have noticed since I have made this decision, my whole outlook on everything is much brighter. I have to say, that after so long wanting to be motivated and missing the drive, making the decision is actually refreshing.
My advice to anyone struggling with motivation, make a decision and put it out there. Say it loud and remember that you won't get it right 100% of the time, but it doesn't really matter. It only matters that you do yourself proud and you aim high.
