Managed to hit both planned training sessions as prescribed. Jump in intensity bit of a struggle and run legs hurt a bit especially calves. Bumped into Andrew Young out running. Great form there!
Had a great day at work with a big effort we scraped budget on the last day so it all helps for Christmas. Day off tomorrow so house hold chores and some training, meeting up with my favourite girl for lunch then train the kids out at Scorching Bay.
I've started to realise that the older we get, the more emotional baggage we seem to carry around with us. Too many experiences not to have left us some scares that we get a bit sensitive about.
I need to be a bit more aware of what upsets those I care about more and instead of arguing what I feel is an injustice, talk rationally about what I can do to keep those fears from becoming something that ends up being a constant battle. I know my issues are not the same as others. If I so their issues respect, hopefully I will get the favour returned.
I've been listening to a fantastic podcast again which i totally recommend called "Fitness Behaviour" by Bevan James Eyles. It ranges in all sorts of subject matter and isn't tally based for those that are already physically active, but those that want to make changes in their lives. It is something anyone can listen to, even children can get things from it. Their attention span won't last a whole show but there are definitely some great tips they can sick up, especially since they aren't coming from mum and dad!
Physio in the morning!
