Ironman Prep Day 37 Nov 21

Up so early today. 4am. Only 4 hours sleep after packing the bikes and gear ready for the 6am flight home.
FYI Auckland domestic airport opens at 5am. At least it wasn't too cold.

Though landing into the rollercoaster ride that is Wellington airport. The lady next to me on the flight was covering her face as we landed. Very funny!

So went to work and fought fatigue all day. At least I was only tired and not stressed out. I think I'm either able to process things better or the pills are doing what they are supposed to do. I'm almost out of my lastest prescription so I need to collect the next lot. Not much to say really but I'm a little disappointed with my result yesterday, but it was such a strong field. I do need to pick my game up but it is a good showing for the first Olympic distance race so far this season. With a bit more focused running, that side of my ability will improve.

So in for an early night once I've unpacked after doing a dump and run this morning. Body isn't feeling too bad, just a little tired.

You guys missed a big night out on Sunday! It was so funny seeing all the athletes drunk. Great night.
