Absolute stunning morning here at Freyberg Bay at 7am. Warm in the sun, the subtlest of Southerly winds making the water absolutely flat. Perfect swimming conditions. Just waiting for Matt "Last Minute" Berg to show up.
Into the water with Nathan Milner, Matt Berg and Rob Creasy. From Freyberg Bay to Point Jernigham Lighthouse. Great swim, I did get a bit of a sore left pectorial muscle during the swim so eased a bit, but it is always great to be out there with great company on a great day. Had a Coffee then off to work. Would have great to have Jane with us but she wasn't feeling that flash this morning. I hope she doesn't have what Alex does.
Another busy day leading up to Dec 24. People always looking for that last minute thing. I can't wait for a break. Went for a run with Jane while we were waiting for Alex to finish swimming. Legs so tight, I need to sort those out. Found a cellphone, did my good deed for the day and found the owner and returned it.
Jane had this great idea to head to Westfield in Lower Hutt tonight. Great!! The Christmas shopping bustle.
That was soooooo fun and pointless. Didn't need to spend much money and we weren't stressed out for once. It was kind of good actually. We did have a good night just hanging out together.
